Goal

The goal of biofuel and biocomposite research group is to develop sustainable alternatives to traditional fossil fuels and non-biodegradable materials by leveraging renewable resources.

Objectives

  1. Biofuels research aims to develop alternative energy sources derived from organic materials such as crops, agricultural residues, algae, and waste biomass. These biofuels, such as ethanol, biodiesel, and biohydrogen, offer the potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and dependence on finite fossil fuel.
  2. Biocomposites research aims to create materials that combine renewable fillers with biodegradable polymers or matrices. These materials have applications in automotive, construction, packaging, and other industries as environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional composites derived from fossil fuels.
